Over the years, the Dinkins Construction story continues to get better and better.

Our foundation began when our Founder, Chap Dinkins, a 4th generation Marion County Native, began working in drafting & design for construction during his education gaining 6 years of noteworthy experience with local architectural and civil engineering firms while studying Organizational and Business Communications at University of Central Florida.

1995

Dinkins began as a General Contractor building restaurants and retail stores in major metropolitan areas throughout both the North Eastern and South Eastern United States.

2000

Dinkins reestablished business in Ocala, Marion County, Florida partnering with Fabian Construction. Fabian Dinkins Construction enjoyed many years of combined success building custom homes and commercial projects.

2007

Fabian Dinkins Construction reached nearly $65 million annual revenue with nearly 70 employees to finish over 365 homes and multiple commercial projects underway.

2009

Dinkins established a separate LLC to segregate the work programs as required by insurances and bonding.

2011

Heidi Dinkins began her career as the bookkeeper for the firm.

2014

The firm amicably split to heighten their focus on each specialty and Dinkins rebranded as Dinkins Construction.

Dinkins has grown tremendously over the years and the story continues.

While focusing on commercial projects in the public and private sector, Dinkins Construction always strives to have a positive impact on the community. Dinkins Construction is committed to delivering high-quality projects and is known for its competent staff of professionals, as well as its skills in communications and project management. Dinkins is an industry leader and proud to be part of the history that makes Ocala an amazing community.
